Wyn looks like the model on the cover of Valerie Hobb’s book Sheep!, first of a trilogy that includes Wolf and Rusty. Great book and one of my “keepers”.
Today is Edible Book day. Not literally, although I did make some little “book” sandwiches for my retirement party that were literally edible. But we devour the words of books and those here celebrate that every day. Anticipating our next C&B feast to come, Cat on a Hot Tin Woof.
It is International Tatting day, a skill I have yet to learn. Tatting has interested me for decades but I have never quite managed to acquire the equipment and start the long road to learning it. I just learned now how to knit socks about a decade ago but have knitted for a majority of my life. And crochet. Sew, quilt, needlepoint. But I still have time.
It is also National One Cent day. I guess the penny having their own separate day.
