  1. Excellent review and links to Mrs Plansky and Wooftop reviews at the bottom.

It continues extra warm today. Already 82 at 11am with a “real feel” of 92. Peak high today will be 86. It won’t drop below 80 until 6pm but I am still going to try to take the recycling in and pick up my order at Home Depot, even if the bags of dirt have to sit in my car or the driveway for a day or two. 81 tomorrow and 78 Friday and Saturday. Friday is Freyja Friday and the dog park and Saturday we are having the oil changed in the car so I am shooting for Thursday to get bed #2 of the garden up and running or at least close to it. I really want the plants in on Thursday night since the garden timers go off M-W-F mornings. Now that the sun sets around 7:30pm I have less time to work in the evening after it cools off.

It is National Spumoni day. Spumoni not to be confused with Neopolitan, although in the U.S. the two ice creams seem to be somewhat interchangeable.

It is also National Senior Citizen day so stand proud. Or sit proud. Bask in the joy of your accomplishments.

  2. Greetings!

I stopped into my local B&N today to purchase “A Farewell to Arfs.” Even though the website showed it in stock, I could not find a single copy. :^(
B&N is ordering it for me.

Fall like weather in this neck of the woods yesterday and today. I am loving it!

    Good afternoon to all!

  3. Really love this review!
David fell 3 times this morning after becoming light headed and dizzy. Rushed him to the emergency room. Couldn’t find anything. His blood pressure was very low. They think it was a matter of taking his meds without eating straightaway. So scary.

    1. Will stocking his pockets with energy bars or something like that help? Would he remember to eat one after taking his meds?

I’ve had a few bouts of light-headedness when I haven’t eaten and my blood sugar drops. I can sense it now and will eat something. I have two meds that I have to wait 30 min before I can eat. That is a pain as sometimes I will either get up and start to do things and forget to take the rest of my meds or I might not eat at all and suddenly it’s dinner time.
