  1. Greetings!

A bit cloudy in this neck of the woods, so hoping that this doesn’t get in the way of seeing the full moon and Mars tonight.

Grizz and I returned from a weekend jaunt to Boston yesterday. We would have been home in record time, except for the massive traffic backup on I-84 in Danbury. We sat in stand-still traffic for 2 hours.

Rebecca: Love reading all about Taffy. :^)

    Create a good day!

    1. Thanks, Wose! She was such a special girl.
We watched ‘Marley and Me’ on TV last night and bawled like babies at the end. It is so hard to lose those precious pets.

  2. Good chance I won’t see it here. Not only light pollution but likely cloud cover but after it gets dark I will give it a go if the moon is high enough to be seen.

It is National Peach Melba day. I might have the ingredients. I have vanilla ice cream and I think I might have some canned peaches. Raspberry jam would have to do.

Meanwhile the fence stalled yesterday when I ran out of the stain/sealer but I picked up a can today from Home Depot and might finish the 2.5 boards I didn’t yesterday but will probably hold off on applying the final coat to all until tomorrow.

  3. Full clear moon very visible in the night sky here in Chevy Chase, but Mars not really visible, at least to the naked eye. Probably result of light pollution.

Plus, one other holiday to take note of today— it is also National Rubber Ducky Day.

  4. The moon is huge here in greater Boise. It’s a bit cloudy, so the moon looks spooky. Can’t see Mars. Arooooooooo! 🌕
