Readers!

Did I mention how much I enjoy meeting the actual readers? Reading a novel involves using your own imagination – not quite the way the writer’s imagination is involved, but in the end the two imaginations meet. It’s not like going to the movies where all the imagining is one sided. So: thanks!

  1. When I read I hear the voices and see the characters, not necessarily as they are described. To me, Iggy is always a beautifully groomed Bichon Frisé.

It is National Holistic Pet day. Not that dogs need any help living in the now. They’ll be getting home made dog food and with no mail today they can play out in the front all day, except for the dog park. It is Freyja Friday.

I can certainly get behind National Toasted Marshmallow day. I could buy a bag and light some coals and toast them, but every time I do I eat maybe two or three and that’s it. The rest of the bag languishes to go stale. Not that stale marshmallows are a bad thing. I love stale Peeps.

It is also Slinky Day. 79th anniversary.

    1. Thanks, Big Tiny! I sure do appreciate your concern! Huny Punkin is still just a bit foggy brained. We have an appointment with his primary care doctor next week. I hope he can provide a bit more clarity. Because of HP’s Parkinson’s, I always wonder if that plays a part in any other malady. He has not fallen since the initial episode, so maybe it was just a case of taking meds without food. He did get a call from his dermatologist office that a biopsy on his ear is, indeed, cancer, so we have an appointment for a MOHS surgery the end of September. Little Jilly and her snuggles keep us on the bright side.
