We now have a pub date for the second Mrs. Plansky adventure – July 15, 2025. (Meaning, as Ms. Publicist points out, that it’s now preorderable. And of course A Farewell to Arfs, the new Chet and

Just read the blurb on Amazon. Mrs Plansky and Chet and Bernie are starting to cross a bit. First that little teaser in Farewell to Arfs and now Mrs Plansky also has a wayward son who has disappeared, just like Iggy’s “Brother”.
I finally got raised bed #2 filled and planted but couldn’t finish the irrigation or trellis last night. Today it’s an early start to Home Depot for screws and PVC cement, then I can finally get that done and move on to the birdbath. And weeding. Then I’ll be moving to the back yard for some pruning and clean up.
Today is Freyja Friday so it will be off to the dog park.
It is National Sponge Cake day. Not a favorite of mine but I do appreciate it with a healthy scoop of strawberries and dollop of whipped cream. Then there are always Twinkies. Since I have to go out to Home Depot, might as well pick up a Twinkie.
It is also National Cuban Sandwich day. Hard pass as not a fan of ham. Mustard only on hot dogs. Cheese on ham? Bleech. I do use mustard when I make Welsh Rarebit but powdered, not squeezed. Hmmm. That sounds kinda good. I might be making some Welsh Rarebit coming up but not today. I would have to bake bread as it is best on toasted home made. Pasta is sounding good to me too, maybe with eggs in purgatory.
