Phriday Photos

Many thanks to Maury (WTAFP) for sending these photos and the write up. Anyone else have photos and blurb they’d like to share? Send ’em in – peter.b.abrahams@gmail.com. (And in answer to his question, I have met four-legged blog participants at least one other time – a frisky pack of Newfs. I believe it was at a bookstore in New Hampshire. Sorry to say that Melanie, their human companion, is no longer with us.)

“As a result of the Chet the Jet blog, some wonderful friendships have been formed, including many in person meetings. Over the years, through book signings and other events, Peter would have met many of the two-legged blog participants in person, and there have been frequent meetings of two-legged blog participants with each other as well. However, the question remains as to whether there have ever been encounters between Peter and any blog participants that are members of the nation within, rather than their two-legged accompaniments, and whether there have been any encounters in which different members of the nation within blog participants have met one another. The answer to both is yes, and I have photographic evidence to prove this. The first is a meeting between Teddy and Tupper and Gilly, which took place at a reunion of sorts outside Woodstock, VT in the summer of 2014. Indeed to round things out, the two-legged shown in the picture happens to be Ms. Wose. The second is an encounter between Peter and Teddy, which took place at Malice Domestic in 2015. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this may be the only time that Peter has had the chance to actually meet a member of the nation within from the blog.”

  1. Greetings!

That was me about 40 pounds ago…Yeep! :^)

Grizz and I had such a wonderful time in Vermont! Meeting Tupper and Gilly and their mom and pop (Amalia and Leonard) was such fun! And of course, I got to spend quality time with my BFF, Teddy, and his gracious folks Maury and Debbie. Great memories!

    Make today awesome!
