I had to try and figure out why the tree had lights like that. Well, duh!!! Reflection from inside.
Mom is excited. She is making another quick trip to the Houston area next Sunday for a crawfish boil. The friends hosting it are originally from Louisiana and cook the best crawfish.
Ah, crawfish. Sorta like shrimp, but not really. It is the not really part that creeps me out.
That said, I did make a Mardi Gras feast for a Fat Tuesday lunch the year I retired. Crab cakes, shrimp salad, Muffuletta (I made everything from scratch including the bread and olive spread) and a King cake. I used a blanched almond instead of a little statue or baby as I didn’t want to inadvertently kill any of my coworkers.
Muffulettas are of Sicilian origin which I find interesting given Louisiana leans more toward the French.

Greetings!
Cool photo!
Make today awesome!
Interesting.
Good day to all.
Cool light fixture. Dining room? I notice no snow on the ground and the cover is off the pool and there is no ice.
Spring has come?
