Henry (More)

Many thanks to Susan Whyatt for the 411 on Henry, Chet’s Feb. friend of the month. He’s the FB profile pic till March and Susan gets a signed copy of A Farewell to Arfs, the latest Chet and Bernie #mystery. Next month this could be you. Just post a pic at any time! Random Number Generator does the rest. Note 1: Some of you have already remarked on how Henry resembles Iggy, Chet’s best pal. I agree. Note 2: I know no one says 411 anymore.

“Henry is a six year old Snorkie (Schnauzer/Yorkie). He was given to me when he was two by a family who no longer wanted him. Their loss was definitely my gain. I could not have asked for a more perfect friend. He is very sweet and full of personality and snuggles. His favorite pastimes are going for walks, going on road trips, playing keep away with his toys, and protecting our house from the thieving squirrels (maybe Chet needs to get on that case too?). He gets along with everyone, even the cat!”

  1. Snorkie. I like that.

After Diana and Freyja pass, I will have to stick to smaller dog. Not only for the handling but if I ever end up moving to the retirement place I have my eye on, they don’t allow dogs larger than 35 lbs. Freyja is around 48. Diana is 88.

I’ve also considered a Pomsky, having met one on the trolley.

Sounds like both Henry and Susan got very lucky. Henry didn’t end up in a shelter, Susan got a wonderful companion and Henry is living his best life. Everyone wins a chicken dinner.

  2. Greetings!

Henry, you are adorable! I don’t understand how your first family did not want you, but I am very glad you found your forever home with your mom, Susan.
And yes, you do look like Iggy. :^)

    Good evening to all!
