For those of us that do not do Facebook we have on this here blog Phriday Photos Phriends of the week.
I hope some of you have written up some nice stories and remembrances of your Phurry Phriends for this coming Phriday.
It is Puppy Mill Survivor day and Pet Tricks day. I can’t speak for Freyja but Diana certainly did not come from a puppy mill. As for tricks, is face licking and knocking over the water bowl considered a trick?
Seems a bit early in the year for hot mulled cider and yet today is National Hot Mulled Cider day.
It is also Extra Virgin Olive Oil day and I can get behind that, having made two batches of roasted tomato sauce in which olive oil played a part and a batch of pizza dough in which olive oil will also play a part tomorrow. It will be Margarita for the first and I will be adding pepperoni to the second.
After a day of errands yesterday today will be a not leaving the house and driving anywhere day.
ML, I sent pix of Jilly, but no narrative. I should send some accompanying words. But nothing could ever top your tribute to Caesar! I do love your suggestion of sending pix of our ‘phurry phrends’ who have crossed over the rainbow bridge. I like your p p’s tricks!
I think I’m the only one here who chases ‘Chet the Dog’ on Facebook. If I had not been there, I would not have heard of this blog, as OFA mentioned it on that page.
I grew up in Northeast Tennessee, in a small town, Elizabethton, which is completely underwater. The pictures I’m getting are gut-wrenching. Devastation everywhere. So sad.
I think Jilly deserves a few words. Just start with how she came to live with you and some of her quirks and stories you remember. I’m sure Peter can match them up to the photo. Maybe a story about that particular photo that you took.
I did send a few words. I hope it all doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of the Facebook Chet’s friend competition.
