Beginnings (Not)

Sunday – normally for beginnings, where we take a look at the start of a Peter Abrahams novel, including those written under the Spencer Quinn moniker™. But today I’m just too busy with the first pass pages of Mrs. Plansky Goes Rogue, coming July 15 and preorderable. Here’s where I am right now:

The house grew quiet. A salsa rhythm, very soft, got going in the back of her mind. Norm said that during the day centrifugal force takes over your life and at night your gravity reels all the parts back in.

  1. Greetings!

    A middle masquerading as a beginning…I like it! :^)

Rumor has it that we may get a little snow in this neck of the woods tomorrow.

    Good afternoon to all!

  2. Wose. I’d be more than willing to send some snow your way, if you would like. We are still on track for somewhere between 5 and 9 inches here in Chevy Chase, starting about 2:00 am tonight. Franklin is excited, but then he is not signed up for shoveling duty.

  3. Perhaps instead of “Beginnings” you should call it “Contents” and then it can be anything within the covers.

It was National Bird day, so here’s to all of our feathered friends of Chet, here or otherwise.
