Sunday! Beginnings! Since The Fan came up yesterday let see the start of that. It begins with a sports talk radio scene. I used a few of them in the book as a sort of Greek chorus.

“Who’s next? Gil on the car phone? What’s shakin’, Gil?”

“Is this …”
“Go on.”
“Hello?”
“You’re on the JOC.”
“Am I on?”
“Not for long, Gil, the way we’re going. This is supposed to be entertainment.”
