Another adventure for Chet and Bernie — and a wonderful treat for readers! In an especially brilliant outing, Chet and Bernie travel to a Christmas village in the mountains to help a best-selling author who has writer’s block, search for a missing reindeer, and take on a long-unsolved mystery. Chet’s observations on Bernie and life in general continue to be hilarious and touching. This is a great installment in a marvelous series. I’ve recommended it over the years to countless friends, and always add, “But it’s not cutesy!” Kudos to the author for his imagination, heart, writing skill and insight into the Nation Within!
