The Other Woman
Grizz and I have been married for 37 years. Not only is he a good husband, he is my best friend. I never worried about him being unfaithful to me, until one day he drove me to a haircutting appointment. We have been friends with my hairstylist, Donna, for over ten years. What started as just saying a quick hello to Donna, turned into Grizz staying for the whole appointment.
There was a young lady named Sheba in the salon at the time.
Sheba went right over to Grizz, climbed onto his lap, and accepted his touches of love and affection in pure ecstasy the whole time I was getting my hair washed and cut.
Grizz was never one to be caught dead in a hair salon, but Sheba changed all that. Now, he can’t wait for my haircutting appointments so he can spend quality time with Sheba, and she is always excited to see him. Sheba is a Shih-poo and has become the Other Woman.

Oh, Wose. My condolences, I think? How can you compete with the Queen of Sheba? She is such a little darling. Who wouldn’t be smitten?
Pretty smart on Donna’s part. Sheba is the gateway to getting the male clientele to come to the salon. Many also cut hair and even shave male clients.
Don’t tell Grizz as he won’t be waiting for your appointments but will be making appointments of his own just to see Sheba.
At least you’ll know who those blonde hairs on his clothes are from.
Greetings!
ML, you are making me LOL!
LOL!
Good day to all.
And today is National Pet day and Barbershop Quartet day. Also Dog Therapy Appreciation day where we appreciate Therapy dogs. I would also think we should appreciate those that provide therapy to our dogs who need some help recovering from medical and emotionally challenges, but maybe that is a different day.
I think Sheba is a Therapy dog, she is just free-lancing.
I always that the Steve had a:special glimmer in his eye and Sheba proves it.
Well, I must say, Wose, this is one of my all-time favorite Phriday Photos! I am grinning from ear to ear! Sheba is adorable, and Grizz is wonderful. Thank you for such a sweet story! I detect a writing talent there!
What a wonderful story! I’m glad Sheba took Grizz under her paw and into her heart.
Thanks, everyone for your nice comments. Sheba is actually the salon owner’s dog, not Donna’s. So when Lois, the owner is in, Sheba is there. Grizz’s favorite photo is the top one. Whenever I look at that picture, I hear Dusty Springfield’s version of “The Look of Love” playing in my head. :^)
Yes, that is the best. Sheba is in ecstasy.
When you make your appointment, do you ask if Lois will be in with Sheba at that time, just for Grizz?
ML: I don’t, but she is usually there 9 times out of 10.
Rebecca: Thanks for the compliment. I would call myself a frustrated writer. :^)
