There’s been some discussion of the writing process, specifically mine. It begins with an idea that comes out of the blue. The blue is unpredictable but in my case – knock on wood – has been pretty reliable. For example, the whole premise of Mrs. Plansky’s Revenge, came to me unbidden on a bike ride. (You don’t need to have read it before you read Mrs. Plansky Goes Rogue – coming July 15 and preorderable. I’m designing this series as though the novels are standalones. But you might enjoy it anyway.)

Greetings!
Very interesting…
A good evening to all!
I hope bike riding inspiration is not like dream inspiration where you have to write it down immediately or it slips away! It would be difficult to take notes while peddling!
Do you also keep a notebook or journal with you to jot down ideas when you are out and about?
That is the sign of a true artist.
Beethoven would keep a little notebook and jot down little musical passages that came to him when he was out walking.
Many artists keep a little plein air journal and small, basic kit for making sketches.
As a writer, may I assume you do the same, even if it is just a note on your phone?
Now, what comes after the BLUE has been fulfilled? Where does it go yonder?
