Readers! What would I do without them? And their perspectives, so often really great. Here’s one at Amazon on A Farewell to Arfs (the most recent Chet and Bernie #mystery yesterday:
You have to love a series narrated by a dog who often sounds a bit like a Jewish mother. I really don’t recall all the plot details because I’m always more interested in Chet’s uplifting attitude, a combo of gratitude, devotion, sweetness, humor, and honesty. This series is like great tasting medicine for whatever ails you.

Greetings!
Chet’s inner voice sounding like a Jewish mother…LOL! I’ll never be able to read another C&B book without thinking that or hearing it in my head. :^)
This reader’s review hit the nail on the head!
Good day to all!
Good day to all.
I always thought he sounded a bit like , maybe, a sixth grader.
It is Wright Brother’s Day. Chet has only traveled by car and boat (that we know of.)
Also National Maple Syrup day but I have no pancakes or waffles. None of today’s recipes require maple syrup either.
