Sunday is for beginnings. Too soon for the the beginning of Mrs. Plansky Goes Rogue? Pub date is July 15. But it is pre-orderable! Caution to the winds. Here it is:
“What’s your favorite sports cliché?” said Kev Dinardo.
“In general?” Mrs. Plansky said. “Or possibly useful at the moment?”
Kev turned to her and smiled, a sweat drop quivering on the end of his chin. They hadn’t known each other long, just a few months, mostly getting together on the tennis court, but it was enough for her to have learned he had two smiles, a big one when he was happy about something, which was often, and a small, quickly vanishing one that flashed when he was struck by an unexpected insight. This particular smile was the second.

Intriguing.
Good day to all.
Interesting. Is Kevin maybe going to hit on the widowed Mrs Plansky? And I’m not talking tennis.
I’m sure yesterday OFA was celebrating Go To A Museum day. Welcome back.
Today is World Vaccination day. I hope everyone is up to date on whatever they need. I am not. I need RSV and Tetanus but I had to wait a few weeks after my recent Covid and Flu shots. Tomorrow makes four weeks so I think I’m good to go to make an appointment.
It is National Vanilla Cupcake day and I just came across a box of Funfetti cake mix.
It is also the Marine Corps Birthday. Booyah!
ML! I think OFA wanted everyone to have an extra day to read or reread my story!
As is only fitting, Big Tiny!
True. I’ve read it several times.
I love to be struck by an unexpected insight! Not usually sports related, though.
