Good afternoon to all!
Now that is a magnificent profile. What a handsome gentleman. I must make sure Diana and Freyja do not see it. Don’t want to make Franklin jealous.
Today is International Coffee day and I will not be making any because it will also be 84F. We are going into another heat wave, with a high of 92 predicted for this coming Sunday and Monday, then it will break into the high 70s again. While it does slow down some of the yardwork I am still hoping for at least one melon and I have green tomatoes on the bush so I’m not going to complain.
It is also World Vegetarian day and I will be making the second of two margarita pizzas today. Yesterday’s was so so and I’m changing a big today to hope to make it a bit improved but I suspect it’s the crust. Will have to change recipes or flours. I’m using King Arthur ’00’ pizza flour and I think the dough is just way too soft. I won’t be baking for World Cookie day either. Instead going to the pool to work out as I haven’t been in two weeks. I need to get back on a regular schedule now that all of the summer camp kiddie classes are over.
For some of us it is also International Day of Older Persons. Very soon I will not have to do jury duty any more. Huzzah.
Lastly it is National Fire Pup day and National Black Dog day. You’ve all seen photos of Diana pawPrints so today is her day. Hers and Scouts. If you haven’t seen it, hop on over to Youtube to WeRateDogs and look up We Walk Dogs to watch the interview with Scout and his dad Tim. What a beautiful dog park and Scout is the perfect gentleman, and also black. Lab/Boxer/Chow and a rescue dog, just like Diana. I did not show this video to Diana as I don’t want to make Franklin jealous. Even though he has other girlfriends the less Diana and Freyja know, the better.
October already. Douley won himself an excellent month.
